Here is the M5 with Porsche brakes front AND rear. This car is really nice with the 19' AC-Schnitzer Racing Wheel Type III. With few spokes on the wheels you clearly see the massive 380 mm brake discs with the giant red calipers.

"The modular AC Schnitzer Racing Wheel Type III combines the classic AC Schnitzer five spoke design with demanding a great deal of technology, light weight construction and quality. At the development of the AC Schnitzer Type III wheels, engineers especially paid attention to lightweight construction. Because of the weight saving of up to 30 per cents as against conventional racing wheels, the outstanding handling of all BMW models is furthermore improved using the AC Schnitzer Racing Wheels Type III. As another technical and stylistic feature the valve of the AC Schnitzer Racing Wheel Type III is integrated into the titanium bolt connection to make it nearly "invisible" for the spectator. "

Notice the special AC-Schnitzer insert to the lower front air intake. Yes, at last we can put a logo on the front of the car which doesn't have to be in the kidney... I wonder how a M5 emlbem would look there instead...

Massive front and rear brakes. Quote from Patrick Bedarrd's editorial in the November 98 issue of Car & Driver: "speaking about the new sensation of feeling brake power in today's cars. Stock brakes can be upgrade now to highest standards giving a total new feeling for driving. "Now that I'm thinking like the brake wonk, I can see there's no such thing as a caliper too rigid, or a rotor with too much heat capacity. An excellent brake has no squish. Instead, it's true to your touch; you know you could shave stopping distances one inch at a time with slight adjustments of pedal pressure."

The brake system is identical to the Porsche GT2 racecar; Fixed-caliper disc brake system with electro-hydraulic power assistance. Internally vented, cross-drilled brake discs (380 mm front, 322 mm rear) calipers with 2 x 44 and 2 x 36 pistons front, 4 x 28 mm pistons rear Pagid RS 9 yellow brake pads
