BMW M5 vs the Audi RS6

The twin-turbocharged Audi RS6 is a serious contender to the now over five year old BMW M5 E39. So of course we had to see what five years of evolution of superdsedans have given us. Just in case we brought the now discountinued 450 HP Audi RS4 with it's twin-turbocharged six cylinder engine and an M3 E46. The only modificatins on the BMW were Kelleners exhaust systems. The Audi RS6 was completely stock with friction winterwheels and the RS4 was completely, totally, fully tuned with changed turbochargers, different exhaust etc. Around 450 HP. And with 19' summerwheels because of the Audi RS4 issues with bent wheels. We met up in Sweden the land of free speed(?) and lovely police. We made several hours of videos which will be published on the site. Due to road limitations we only reached around 230 km/h with the vehicles but were allowed maximum acceleration on the way there.   Here we are on the way to the suited "private" roads. The M5 is a 2002 model.   Here is the RS4 and the RS6 sedan.     Nice touch in the RS6 with the embossed logo in the seats. Here we have the "hero" the trusted M5 with optional Chrome Line Exteriour. Also the facelifted rearlights. Caramel Exclusive interiour with a proffesional digital video camera for proper documentation. The silver M3 next to the car. I think I see some resemblance with the M5's rearspoiler? Quad exhaustsfor are only for real men. A mic is fitted for optimal sound recording during full throttle. M3 E46 in the rearviewmirror of the RS4. And it stays there too... RS6 front.

Rally cars? One is at least 4WD... Nicely designed side indicators on the RS6. A nice Skoda-sponsored Tire Mobility Kit. Any M5 owners want a Skoda Tire mobility kit?

In Sweden we love snow but not when it's under the BMW M5.

The Audi is more suited for snow with the 4WD system.
