The visit to Alpina

So, here comes the pictures!
Here is Alpina main entrance. The building has the same colour theme as Alpinas cars, blue and green. An interesting note is that Alpina had it's colours before BMW M adapted their red, blue and violet M colours. The guy to the left is Stefan. He drove the car as we didn't want to get "blitzed" and get more tickets...
Alpina was in the middle of rebuilding of the factory because of an expansion of the showroom.

So, here is a picture of me inside the Alpina reception with the brand new Alpina rims (second wheel from the right) with a new design.

Here is a picture over the factory area. Most of the cars are B10 V8 and B10 3,2. Notice the new 3 series.  Is it waiting for a new engine maybe? During the time we were there we talked to the an Alpina salesman who said that the B8 4,6 (The 3 series with the V8 and 333 HP) where so expensive to produce so the almost didn´t earn anything on that particular model. That´s a pity, because that is Alpina´s funniest and fastest car for the moment.
Speaking of engines, here are some brand new sixcylinder engines waiting to be bored up to 3,2 litre and placed in a 3 series, the B3 3,2 or in a 5 series, the B10 3,2.
Here is a B3 3,2 waiting for a fresh engine. Notice how high the car is without the engine pushing down the springs.

It takes between two and three hours to complete the Alpina decor set either in gold or in silver. If the customer wishes not to have it it's a no cost option to remove them.
