The visit to Alpina Part two
Here
is a B3 3,2 Coupe
based on the BMW 328i.
Engine produces 265 HP and this little rocket will do 0-100 km/h
in 5,9 s and a top speed of more than 260 km/h (162 mph). This is
almost as fast as the Euro 321 HP M3
through perfect engineered engine and available torgue at all revs.
This is the B10 V8 based on the BMW 540i. It has 340 HP and a top speed of more than 275 km/h (172 mph). It has the optional clear lenses. Notice the nice double exhaust lower left.
The
blue touring to the left is a B10 V8
and the black one is as you probably noticed a B10
3,2. The touring has a top speed of
268 km/h (168 mph).
This is a BMW Alpina B12 5,7 E-Kat based on the BMW 750i/iL. Its V12 powerunit produces 387 HP.It will do 0-100 km/h in a mere 6,2 s and a top speed over 280 km/h (175 mph), very impressive for a car weighing more than 2 tonnes. Notice the four exhaust pipes, two on each side, exactly as the new M5. It has electrically heated catalytic converter to reduce pollution. This car will outrun a Mercedes S 600 L I guess.
Notice the new facelift of the BMW 7 series. The black plastics around the headlights are exchanged to reflective bright material, very nice! ![]()
This is a old fast one, the B7 Turbo. It has 300 HP and can easily outrun many of today's "sport cars". Notice how the trend goes to more discrete styling of the cars. The stripes of the seventies where large and the Alpinas of today are more discrete.
