We have a block of rooms reserved for M5 guests. To stay at the Marriott, you must make your reservation by April 15, 2002. There are two types of rooms available:

• Bay View room with King or two doubles: $380 + 10% tax
• Executive Suite with King in a separate bedroom: $500 + 10% tax

To reserve your room at the Marriott, you must sign up through Paul Preston by emailing him at pp2000@pacbell.net. Choose your type of room for 3 nights, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 15, 16 and 17. You may add Sunday August 18, 2002, if you desire.

In your email, please include:

• screen name
• full name
• address
• email address
• phone number and cell number
• type of room
• total number in party
• number of nights

Paul will then contact you to finalize your reservation by taking your credit card information and you will be sent a confirmation directly from the hotel. Your room will then be paid for and not be cancellable nor refundable but it is transferrable. This is standard procedure for Monterey Penisula hotels during this weekend. The Marriott has asked that M5 guests communicate through Paul rather than calling the hotel. Check out the Monterey Marriott website.

Embassy Suites Hotel - Napa

We have a block of rooms reserved for M5 guests on Wednesday, August 14, 2002. Almost everyone involved in the M5 Track Day on Thursday will stay here. There is a free hospitality reception from 5:30 - 7:30pm where people can get together after they arrive.

We will all drive up the Napa Valley for dinner around 8pm. Early breakfast on Thursday morning is included.

The rooms will be $174 + 12% tax ($30 cheaper than last year). Check out the hotel website.
