Jim Russell Racing Drivers School, based at Sears Point, has taught some of the world's best known drivers how to race. Do the names Jacques Villeneuve, Jimmy Vasser and Emerson Fittipaldi ring a bell? The Russell School and their professional drivers will be hosting our M5 Track Day. |

Wednesday, August 14, the night before our track day, we are meeting and staying here in beautiful Napa Valley. It will be a fun opportunity for both drivers and spectators to get acquainted and compare notes. We will all have dinner in Napa Valley on Wednesday night.

The Concorso Italiano is held annually at the beautiful Quail Lodge Resort in Carmel, California. The theme of this year's event being held on Friday, August 17, is "A Celebration of Italian Style". More than 600 Italian exotic and classic automobiles and motorcycles are on display, including: Maserati, DeTomaso, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Abarth, Iso, Bizzarrini, Pantera, and Fiat. For many people, the Concorso Italiano is their favorite event of the weekend.
The BMW Corral at the Concorso Italiano is the place where M5 owners will gather together in their own section to show their cars as a group on the beautiful fairway grass. Don't miss this!

Laguna Seca Raceway is one of the most famous race tracks in the world, with beautiful surroundings and infamous turns like the "Andretti Hairpin" and "The Corkscrew". Coinciding with the Pebble Beach Concours are the Monterey Historic Automobile Races. Here you can see famous race cars of days gone by - often beautifully restored and sometimes worth well in excess of one million dollars - being driven hard and fast as they were meant to be.
There will be a BMW Corral everyday at Laguna Seca. A separate ticket, available through BMWCCA, is required for the Corral.
